HOW DOES EXCESSIVE SWEATING TREATMENT WORK?
Botulinum Toxin injections are used to block the nerve signals responsible for sweating, temporarily stopping the sweat glands from producing too much sweat. Hyperhydrosis is a medical condition resulting in excessive sweating regardless of the environment (hot or cold) and can occur without any triggers. It can be embarrassing and uncomfortable for a lot of people whom suffer from it.

It can take a full 2-4 weeks for the anti- wrinkle injections to take effect and may last 4-9 months as the nerves regenerate. The results may vary dependent on the person.

Iodine solution is applied to the skin and allowed it dry. Once dry, starch powder is applied. When the person sweats, areas of excessive sweating will turn blue-black due to the reaction between the sweat, iodine, and starch. This is a simple method used to detect areas of excessive sweating.
