WHAT IS DERMAL FILLER REMOVAL?
Hyaluronidase (Hyalase) is an injectable clear solution made from a protein enzyme which breaks down the bonds of hyaluronic acid and as a result it degrades the dermal filler. Hyaluronic Acid is the main ingredient in the dermal fillers. Hyaluronic Acid naturally degrades within the skin and body, dermal fillers are manufactured using technology which extends the half-life and as a result, delays the degradation process.
Hyalase can be used to dissolve hyaluronic acid fillers that have not broken down in the skin. Hyalase can be used in cosmetic medicine for emergency situations for dissolving dermal filler, for example, for vascular occlusion, cases of chronic infection / inflammatory nodules or for resolving undesired aesthetic results for example overcorrection, unevenness / asymmetry / Lumps / product migration.
